The Prototypes are Brighton-based producers and DJs, Chris Garvey and Nick White.
Having exploded onto the scene over the past few years, and with DJ support from the likes of Andy C, Knife Party, Zane Lowe, Annie Mac and Krewella to name a few, there’s been no looking back for the production duo with their polished, dancefloor-destroying Drum & Bass.
In 2014 The Prototypes signed at Viper Recordings and announced their 'City of Gold' album for release in 2015. After a huge 2014 which included one of the biggest DNB tracks of the year with 'Pale Blue Dot' which was the #2 selling DNB track of the year on Beatport, only trailing the #1 UK chart topping 'Nobody To Love' by Sigma. The Prototypes also saw 'Humanoid' and 'Abyss VIP' make the Top 10 selling Beatport tracks of 2014, giving them an unbelievable 3 out of the Top 10 tracks for the year, the highest of any Drum & Bass artist!
The future has never been brighter for one of the most exciting production outfits in recent years.
